Cancer Treatment Centers and Research Centers
At CTCA, we offer some of the most advanced cancer treatments available in a plan tailored to your unique diagnosis and needs. But we don't stop there. We offer more than a typical hospital experience. We offer quality care committed to the highest quality of life.
Here, you have your very own team of cancer experts fighting for you each day. Your care team treats you like a member of their family. They listen, offer choices, and then develop a plan personalized to you. At CTCA, your doctors care about you and they show it in everything they do.
We provide a unique combination of treatments to keep you strong in body, mind and spirit. This includes cutting-edge cancer treatments and technologies along with supportive therapies, such as nutrition therapy, naturopathic medicine, mind-body medicine, and spiritual support.
CTCA is a network of cancer hospitals unlike any other. Each CTCA hospital houses the latest technology and advanced tools to fight cancer. Yet, here, people also smile and call you by name. At CTCA, patients, staff and families are connected by a common purpose—to beat cancer.
This place is different. You see it in the eyes of fellow patients and in the determination of your doctors. Here, we are on this journey together.
Whole-Person Treatment
We treat the whole person, not just the disease.
At CTCA, our cancer experts deliver a full range of treatments to heal the whole person. We combine conventional treatments with supportive therapies like nutrition, naturopathic medicine, oncology rehabilitation, mind-body medicine, and spiritual support. This approach helps you maintain your strength and improve your overall quality of life.
In addition, these supportive therapies can:
- Ease the side effects of your conventional treatments
- Keep you nourished
- Boost your immune system
- Promote your independence
Your CTCA care team integrates these therapies into a comprehensive treatment plan, customized to your unique needs and diagnosis. We help you achieve physical, emotional and spiritual wellness.
You're at the center of all we do
Each CTCA clinical area offers an individual assessment and may become part of your multidisciplinary treatment plan. All areas work together, providing you with the best coordinated care possible. Throughout your treatment, you also receive ongoing evaluations, personal consultations, education, and support.
At CTCA, cancer treatment means total care for the whole person—body, mind and spirit.

Care Management
Your care manager, a registered nurse with oncology expertise, addresses your medical questions and concerns, and also helps coordinate and streamline your care so your treatment plan runs smoothly.
Diagnostics-Imaging
Advanced medical imaging tools, including CT, PET and MRI, help us diagnose cancer. We perform these and detailed laboratory tests in minimum turnaround times.
Surgery
Your skilled surgeon can perform sophisticated surgical procedures. The types of surgery we may recommend include curative, diagnostic, preventative, palliative, or reconstructive surgery.
Radiation Therapy
We use innovative external beam and internal radiation technology and therapies. Your radiation oncologist works with a medical physicist to develop a targeted radiation plan that avoids harming healthy tissues near the tumor.
Nutrition Therapy
Your dietitian strives to keep your body nourished, prevent malnutrition, rebuild body tissue, and support immune function so you feel stronger, energized and better able to tolerate treatment.
Naturopathic Medicine
Your naturopath incorporates safe, natural therapies to help support normal metabolism, boost your body's immune system and alleviate treatment-related side effects.
Pain Management
Your pain management team adjusts your therapies to reduce discomfort and improve your eating, sleeping, activity, mood, concentration, and overall quality of life.

Why Travel to a CTCA Hospital?
About two-thirds of CTCA patients (or 70 percent) travel to one of our facilities from out of state. Many patients travel hundreds of miles to get here. Why travel to CTCA when you could go to your local hospital?
First, our representatives will handle all of the details for you, including your transportation and lodging arrangements, to make your visit to a CTCA hospital as easy, convenient and stress-free as possible. If you are coming to us from out of town, our transportation staff will greet you at the airport, load your luggage for you, and drive you to the hospital.
Once here, our multidisciplinary team of cancer experts will provide specialized, patient-centered cancer care under one roof. This means you don’t have to go from one location to the next for your appointments. At CTCA, you receive all of your care in one place.
Your personalized treatment plan will consist of advanced conventional treatments combined with complementary medicine therapies. The goal is to help you fight cancer, strengthen your immune system, reduce side effects, and improve your quality of life.
Furthermore, our cancer hospitals offer a positive, hopeful environment so you can relax and focus on healing. When you need to leave the facility, our transportation staff is available to drive you to and from the hospital and your lodging accommodations, as well as to local restaurants, malls, museums, and other spots around town.
At CTCA, you will discover a closeness of patients, staff and family that is simply not found in any other cancer treatment center.
Generous gifts, wise investments
We turn donated dollars into selectively awarded fellowships and grants that recognize and nourish the educational training and research efforts of top scientists. Through our support of both laboratory and clinical research in the fields of immunology and tumor immunology, we provide donors an opportunity to help transform cancer treatment.
With your help, CRI is working to give new and better treatment options to cancer patients, including powerful cancer vaccines and other immunotherapies that harness our own immune systems to treat, control, and prevent cancer.
Your donation can help our investigators pay for laboratory personnel, equipment and supplies, clinical trial costs (including patient costs), or other needs essential to keeping scientific discovery moving forward. CRI funds also go toward conferences for CRI scientists as well as educational events for donors, patients, and the public.
Donations to CRI are deductible for federal or state tax purposes as allowed by law. Planned giving can offer other tax advantages as well.
You can choose to have your donation allocated to a specific type of research, or to a specific geographic region (e.g., the Northeast). Or you can also ask us to direct the funds to where they are needed most.
We recognize donors in our annual reports and profile them in our publications and Real Stories series. If you prefer, we can keep your donation anonymous.

Giving methods to fit your needs
Because we appreciate every donation, we offer different ways for you to give:
- Cash gifts: The most convenient way to give to CRI. You can donate online securely or by phone with your credit card, or you can mail a check to us made payable to "Cancer Research Institute."
- Memorial & tribute gifts: Donating to cancer research in memory of a loved one, in support of another's courageous battle with cancer, or in honor of any occasion can be a thoughtful and appropriate way to remember others.
- Employer matching gifts: Employer matching gift programs can increase your giving to CRI by double or more. Our convenient employer MatchFinder will allow you to see if your employer matches your charitable donations.
- Securities donations: Gifts of stocks, bonds, and other securities can be of significant benefit to our programs while also providing you tax advantages.
- Car and other vehicle donations: Donate an old car or vehicle (boat, campers, etc.). We'll arrange to have your vehicle picked up, and the proceeds from the sale of your used vehicle will benefit our research programs.
- Planned giving options: Naming CRI in your will or estate plans, including charitable annuities and trusts as well as life insurance and retirement plan gifts, can offer both you and CRI significant financial advantages.
- Payroll deduction: Employees can provide ongoing support through regular payroll deductions, especially if their companies provide matching gifts.
Thank you for your support, which makes our work possible.
